Giyaman Museum
The "Giyaman Museum" is an exhibition of glass crafts from around the world.
It looks like a church.

The inside of the tower is quite large, and works by famous glass artists such as Lalique are lined up.
Golden mansion
It is a quiet facility on the 2nd floor of "Palace Huis Ten Bosch".
Gold violins are sold for 1000 million yen, and there are gold nuggets worth 6000 million yen that you can actually touch.
Ruby was the most expensive exhibit, even though it was called the "Golden House".
It is a ruby from Mogok in Myanmar, which is famous for producing the finest rubies, and is said to be worth about 6 million.

Even though it's only about the size of a bean, jewels are amazing.
Porcelain Museum

This work is based on the motif of Hiroshige Utagawa's Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido.
This is the first time I've seen glass that expresses snow like this.

Rich in VR attractions
Huis Ten Bosch is also focusing on VR (the one who wears goggles that show images) attractions.
However, do not expect USJ level quality.
(The horror VR that was in Huis Ten Bosch in the old days was better than USJ ...)
VR facilities often have long waiting times, so be sure to visit them first thing in the morning.
Only VR requires waiting time in Huis Ten Bosch.
(Digression) The old Huis Ten Bosch was too scary
As an aside, until January 2020, there was a horror area called "Thriller City".

Castella castle
It looks like just a souvenir shop, but you can sample castella inside.
At the time of the event, you can eat and compare 6 to 8 types of castella, so check the schedule before visiting.
Domtoren (Observation Tower)
It is a 105m high tower with the motif of the oldest "Dom Church" in the Netherlands.

The restaurants in the theme parks are often expensive and the taste is not good, but Huis Ten Bosch is different.

Unless you are a museum enthusiast, you can travel in one day.

The nearest station, "JR Huis Ten Bosch Station", is just over 2 hours by limited express from Hakata Station.
It's about 20 minutes from Sasebo Station (fare 300 yen), so staying in Sasebo is also recommended.
I also took a hotel in Sasebo, but it was convenient because it was close.
Finally
Huis Ten Bosch, unlike other famous theme parks, does not focus too much on attractions. (It can be said that there is no budget ...)
So if you expect attractions, you are likely to be disappointed.
